Library members with a Reader Pass can borrow almost 150 000 fiction and nonfiction books.
Fiction
One part of our book collection consists of classic and contemporary prose, poetry and drama from Hungarian authors and those of other nationality. Most of the books are in Hungarian, but we own a small collection which is in other European language like English or German.
Nonfiction
The other part of our book collection consists of nonfiction books. Topics that you can find are general works, philosophy, sociology, science, art, geography, biographies, history etc.
Books for children and teenagers
From the whole book collection of the Library, 29 000 books are for children and teenagers. Most of the books are in Hungarian, but we own a small collection of English and German books. Here you can find booklets for children under the age of 5, tales and stories for smaller children, short novels for beginner readers and teenagers under the age of 16, poetry, drama, nonfiction and educational books.
